Favorite thing: You must see the Bahrain Fort, placed in the northern end of the island. It's not a common tourist attraction, so it can be hard to find. Also you must try smoking a sheesha, you wont get high or anything. The most popular place to do this is 'Casa Blu' placed in adliya, near the Ferrari Centre.

Fondest memory: You cannot miss out on the souq no matter what. The souq is the old city of Manama, the capital of Bahrain. Here i can spend ours just walking up and down the streets, inhaling the atmosphere.

Favorite thing: Have a look at the mosques. This one is called Al-Fatih Mosque, and it is quite difficult to be missed being the biggest building in the country. 7000 people can enter this buiding! The important thing is that non-Muslims can visit this Mosque as well.

Favorite thing: Visit Manama.I guess you will probably start from the capital. Even if you do not flight in, but use road transport (which is possible) Manama is the first and usually the only stopover. Manama is the modern capital of an ancient place. History goes back something like 6 000 years ago. Amazing.
