Cico's restaurant has become an institution in Bahrain. Not only is it the island's first Italian restaurant, but also considered its best, as affirmed by the international Best Restaurant Award it received in Madrid in 2005. The excellent Italian food is served in an authentic setting. Wine is served too.

Bring your own booze as they have no licence. And don't forget to pre-order your pasta for cooking at home; as long as you order 24 hours in advance they'll make it for you.
Favorite Dish: Home made pasta. Lasagne that melts in your mouth.

Favorite Dish: Everything is good, but the pizzas are masterful. Until I came to this restaurant I didn't know it was possible for minestrone soup to taste good.
