It's really cheap to eat out in the Gulf.
In five star hotels you can dine on seafood
for 10 Dinars, or 25 bucks.
In the cheap workers' restaurants,
a fried Kingfish steak costs a dinar,
or less than 3 dollars.
The reason for this is the low wages
paid to service staff in the gulf.
Most of them are lucky to earn 150 dollars
a month. That keeps prices down!
Low-wage workers from the subcontinent are
the real constructors of the present day Gulf.
Without them, nothing would have got done,
and nothing would get done even today.
