don't drink and drive... because if the police stop you... directly they take you to jail for one week and you pay around 1250 US Dollars :) i am crazy so i always drink and drive hehe i like adventures

Although alcohol is not forbidden and many Saudis entering Bahrain during their weekend for some heavy drinking sessions, you should be careful. If the police will find you in a state of too much alcohol you might get locked up!

Booze: Don't whatever you do get drunk in public. They'll throw you in jail and then you'll go to court and pay a huge fine. Drinking & Driving: even worse. If you have one mg of alcohol in your blood you'll go to jail and the next day they'll take you to court and fine you US$1,500. Take a taxi!

don't get drunk (ie lose all control) in public. It is a very small place. Always get your visa renewed well in advance, ie 10 days!!!!Always use metered taxis in cars, or give 1BD to a pick up taxi round Manama
