Women should dress...

Women should dress appropriately according to the weather and the place they are going to. Revealing dresses in the souk will only attract unwanted attention and or propositions from men.

Drink and drive is not good. Drunk drivers are jailed and dealt with strictly and heavy fines and jail terms are involved.Stick with the taxis, pay and smile.

Do not take pictures of local women without their permission. Most of them will happily agree to pose for pics but be cautious and prudent.

Women should really not show...

Women should really not show their arms above the elbow, or legs above the knee when down the souk & avoid tight clothing unless you want to be touched up, stared up & offered money to go with a Saudi guy for sex. I KID YOU NOT! When a woman has to walk along the red light districts to gedt to a shop for example, do not get into the many cars that stop & offer you a lift or a 'good time'. These areas are Exhibition Road & Adliya High street, usually after dusk.
