In the middle of Bakuriani there is a centre which offers tourist information, like accomodation, hiking and skiing possibilities, etc. The people there are really friendly and helpful. They focus also on sustainable tourism and can help you find accomodation in local guesthouses too. Be aware that local people may only speak Russian besides Georgian, but in general this will pose no problems.
