    Wreck at Sunset

A 40 year old rusting hulk is not particularly special, but again for Iran is rather unique and beautiful at sunset.

This Greek freighter ran aground in 1965 and has been here ever since. A lot of the metal has been removed for scrap metal but the main structure is still intact. Our taxi driver got up to 150km/h on the short drive out to the western side of the island, so some lunitic drivers are present in Kish.

    Ancient civilisation

Underground seems to be the perfect location for ancient civilisations on this small island in the Persian Gulf. Drinking water is obviously a problem in this part of the world but the ancient civilisations always new where it was. A recent archaeological discovery that has been restored to a good standard - unlike most other historical sites in Iran.
