Kish is a trade free zone and many Iranians come here to buy duty free cloths, electronic goods, cosmetic etc. There are many big, modern shopping centres, most of them in the in the east part of the island. I was not on Kish for shopping, but only visited a shopping centre for the Internet café. When I was there I realised everything closed at 13.00, only to be open again around 17.00.

This happened to be my most important place to shop during my stay. All taxi drivers understood "Hypermarket", even if they did not understand english. They have everything you need to survive, and a little more.
