Helpfulness
When I visit Kish Island-Iran, most Kish people were not friendly to Asian. It was very hard to get a good Hotel, every one look unhappy if any asian come to the beach for swimming, and the worst part, I was not allowed to enter a mal by the sercurity. It is almost impossible to see any asian in the mall (actually, there was so many asian in kish island, mostly they come for visa run). What a bad experience.

Luggage and bags: The less u bring, the comfortable u are!
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Your Swim suits ( both men and women-see my local costom tips ) Everything u need for swimming. Ur usual dressed type in Iran.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring any Medicine u use.
Photo Equipment: There's no rule for it, ur free.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: You can bring anything u want, but you cannot sleep near the beache.( Esp. in summer) It's very very hot, besides you all have to stay at a hotel or motel!
