In every restaurants in iran you could find the traditional iranian deshes like " kabob" ,"baghali-polo","sabzi-polo-ba-mahi",..etc.
there are iranian dishes that if you test them one time,i assure you that you'll enjoy and never forget their taste.

Had dinner at a really nice place named Zomorrod.
As in many other Iranian restaurants you get to sitt on a carpet and eat, drink tea, and smoke water pipe. The staff are friendly and the environment lovely.
Favorite Dish: As a vegetarian, one usually gets to eat rice and bread, but here I got some aubergine thing with rice (surprise). But of course the main part of the menu was about meat, chicken and fish.

Very Good Iranian Food In The Montain atmosfer (Darband Area)( In the Winter ther is so Cold)

Again, if you feel the need to escape from Tehran you can reach here in about an hour or so. Location is rather attractive but the kebabs faily standard.

At this pizza place in southern Tehran the walls are covered with Swedish fast food posters!
They also serve sandwiches that can be made vegetarian if requested.
