I always fly Emirates to the Middle East it has good connection from Singapore to the Middle East. The services is quite standard, although it tries to protrait itself to be premium airlines.

As so many BTers has comments on metro, All I will say is that it costs IR2,000 (May 08) for 2 way trips and it is clean.
