Handicrafts Stand: Tapestries galore
This isn't so much a shop as an overladen hole in the wall. It is located at the base of the mount on which the citadel stands, and it is quite obviously intended to service the needs of tourists who pass through the city. I could not tell if it was one shop or two, but given the nature of commerce in the Middle East, it is probably multiple shops competing with one another, all owned by the same person.
What to buy: The main item on sale is woven tapestries featuring a variety of motifs, including Muslim and Christian religious images and Kurdish nationalist ones. You'll also find rugs and other textiles, as well as an assortment of things we call tchotchkes (aka nicknacks).
What to pay: Bargain.
