Bregman Says: In the entrance to Bet Oren, next to the main road (road number 721), you will find the horse farm. This is a great experience for kids and adults alike. You can go for a ride in the area, one of the most beautiful places in the Carmel mountains.
Bregman Says: The Carmel is full with picnic areas. Shown here is the lake picnic area just a km or so west of Bet Oren. The lake is just a little pond with thousands of frogs in it, but it still makes for a nice and relaxing picnic spot.
Bregman Says: After riding the horses, you can relax at the local restaurant. It's a basic, not too fancy, steak house, suitable for kids as well. The best feature here is the great view of the Carmel if you sit outside on the terrace.

Bet Oren is a popular place known for years a resting place. People came, and still come, here to relax in the green Carmel mountains landscape and hike in the area.
