Poleg Beach is one of our favorite beaches in Israel, and it's nice to combine a stay on the beach with a light meal and a drink in Bamboo village (which happens to be the only restaurant on this beach...), with the beach view, breeze and ambience.
There is a wide deck with proper tables and bamboo chairs, and also casual seating in the sand below. As everywhere in Netanya, you are bound to hear French spoken at one of the neighboring tables, and there is a mixed crowd of young and old, romantic couples but also families with little children who prefer playing in the sand to eating their meal.
The menu includes meats, fish, pasta and salads. I enjoyed my chicken breast with cajun seasoning, and P liked her fattoush salad. We both enjoyed the mocca and passiflora icecream for dessert.
One good word about the service: We did not expect much in this type of restaurant, but were pleasantly surprised. Our waiter Nir (and his shift manager as well) made us feel like VIPs! At first we thought they mistook us for real celebs, but then we saw that other customers also received this VIP treatment.

The special thing about this restaurant is that its situated in a furniture&decorations store.
The store is wierd, it seems that someone who came back from India opened it, there are very strange products inside.
The restaurant lks great, very colorful and you fell like you are in exotic place. Its also very stylish place, most of the clients are young.
So if you wanna buy something to your home and suddenly you are hungary then this is the place for you!

Rubenstein was and still is a butcher shop, the butcher shop is just around the corner from the restaurant, so who else to give you good meat if not the butcher. If you are a local you might be interested in knowing that you can pop around the corner (during the day) and purchase good cuts of meat to take home...
Very quiet music and a decent priced wine selection makes your meat all that much better. The service was excellent and the waiters helpful and friendly.
Favorite Dish: Zohara had the ribs which she enjoyed and I opted for a 300 gram steak, cooked EXACTLY as I requested (and that is unusual in most restaurants, most tend to overcook for you).

Pundak Hayam (Sea Inn) has been in the same place for about forty years and is consistent with the quality of its simple and tasty meals, including fish, chicken, steaks and salads. We always get the same waiter, who has been with the restaurant for many years. He is of the old school, polite and helpful. We feel very much at home there.
Favorite Dish: The St. Peter's fish (Musht) is always large, tasty and satisfying. It comes either with salad and/or French fries. There is also grilled chicken which is just as tasty. Food can also be bought for taking home

Just walk up and down the main drag from Atzmaut Square and you will find pancakes, shishlik ,hummus, icecream, coffee bars and Algerian/Tunisian style menus in Hebrew and French due to the large influx of French immigrants over the last few years. You can have a full meal for around 40 shekels.
Favorite Dish: We just had a cheese toast and a plate of chips but it was good..

We are part of a group of about 12 Israeli oldtimers who have breakfast here every other Friday morning. Most of the group were schoolmates and the average age is 70. It is also frequented by many of the English speaking locals, mostly from the UK.
The meal comes on a large oval plate. One has a choice of two eggs, cooked according to the person's preference. There is a huge vegetable salad, olives, yellow and white cheeses and there are side dishes such as eggplant and avocado. Coffee Latte comes in large glasses.
Favorite Dish: I love the omelette. I like it plain, but it can be served with cheese or mushrooms.

East to the Liberty square, at the way to Hertzel street you will find a big pedestrian mall. In the side you will see a lot of restaurants and some shops.
The resturants there are especially consists meet and i think you will maybe find even sea food. There is also a Pitzza Hut and a Burger King there.
The place is full of people especially at hot weekends when people going to swim at beach or just going out fr a walk.
Favorite Dish: I ate there at the Burger King... the same as anny place at the world.
