When you walk on the Netanya promenade you're sure to see the paragliders flying above the rooftops and treetops.
Various companies offer the paragliding experience, either in tandem with a guide for novices, or on your own. Paragliding is available from May to October.
The starting point is near the Carmel hotel in southern Nentanya, on the cliff overlooking the beach.

Sportiv is Netanyas best fitness center, there is a lot of equipment so you can do many kinds of exercises and other activities.
There are also personal trainers that can make for you suited programs.
In addition to the center in Netanya there is another one in Ramat-Hasharon. You can go to both of them if you are a member.
Equipment:
You must bring towel, if you forgot you can rent one for 1 NIS.

In Netanya there are a lot of people, especially the youngsters who like rollerblades and skatebording.
Most of them are using the promenades to this activity, there are even special courts just for this.

In Netanya there are some places where you can try parachuting. You can do it alone or with a guide. The Parachuts, which powered with engine will take you across the sea cost and you will have an amazing view.
You can find this parachuters near the Carmel hotel where there is a big land where they take off and down.
There are some people that this is their favorite hobby.
Equipment: You will get all the equipment at the place you will take off.

A lot of people know about Netanyas Football dream team that was the best in Israel in the 70-ties and the 80-ties and some of the best footballers of the country came from here, for example Oded Machnes or Motale Spigler who is the only Israeli player who scored at a world cup.
Today the team is not in such a good situation. all the good players are leaving for bigger clubs but it is still worth visiting a game. The atmosphre is fantastic and the fans are great....
Equipment: Come to the match with good mood... for now you will come to the old stadium wihch called "The Box" but in the next years there will be a new modern stadium which is getting built right now.... im really waiting for it.

It is a go-kart track that situated in a basement of a building at the cities new industrial park.
You can try your luck in amature driving that takes about 10 minouts. There are also professional races for pros. Another posability is to come in groups between 12-60 people. You will also get intrudoction at the begining.
The place is nice, there is a bar with a good atmosphre.
Equipment: You get all the equipment you need in the track: a helmet and a rcing car that can get to 70 km/h. Dont come with high heels or sandals.
