The club was founded in 1930 in Petach-Tikva by a few working class city workers. It was upheld financially by the Hapoel, or labor organization in Israel. The club is now privately owned and has no political allegiance or affiliation and the name Hapoel simply sets it apart from their cross town rivals Maccabi.
Matches are played at the Petah Tikva Municipal Stadium. Tickets are generally cheap and can be bought at the stadium.

The Sportan Country Club is the biggest club in Petah Tiqwa , for sport activities - pools , spinning , gym and many many more - he is the most famous country club in Petah tikva and the best one.

Maccabi Petah Tikva are the cross town rivals of Hapoel and have been a top club as of late. Their matches are great for family outings and give you a great sense of Israeli culture while also not spending alot as women and children generally pay less.
Equipment: Don't forget your glasses if you can't see from far distances.
