Even before going in, you can tell that "the Dublin" as they call it in Rehovot is a special experience. I had never tried it until last year because I had this notion in my head that you must be 25 to enter but that is wrong. The entrance age is 21. From the outside the pub stands out because it really looks like an Irish pub. Definently a little out of place in the Middle East.
Once you get inside the feeling is much like a new Irish pub. Definently does not have that old classic Irish feel. The only major difference between this Irish pub and a pub in Ireland is that smoking is not yet banned in pubs in Israel so it can be a bit bothersome to those who don't smoke and are health conscious.
The menu features a lot of spirits and wines. The beer selection is better than most Israeli pubs but definently not the best selection I have seen. There are large plasma televisions scattered around the pub and it makes it great to watch a football match there. Overall the experience is great and I recomend this place to everyone as a great night activity in Rehovot. Leave a Comment
