Favorite thing: A brand new park established near the entrance to Rishon LeZiyyon from the main highway number 4. The park is dedicated to some of the leaders of Israel who have lead the country over the years. Some of the names are well known internationally such as Herzel who began the IDEA of reestablishing the state of Israel. Or Golda Meir who lead the country during the 6 day war between Israel and Syria/Jordan/Egypt. Very nicely designed with one fountain providing water flowing into a channel that runs the lenght of the park into the lower fountain where you have a "fire" type element. The statues (only faces, chiseled out of stone in a fashion that reminds me of Mount Rushmore in the USA), are placed around the lower fountain and there are also nearby monuments to each of the figures here, explaining their important, place, contributions and accomplishments in our history. At the entrance to the park there is also a wall dedicated to those who contributed to help construct this park.
Fondest memory: You can find the park just by looking for the line of international flags along the road, this is the border of the park. Parking is a pain to find, it is "hidden" in the back street near the country club and the signs are only in Hebrew.
