Favorite thing: You can claim a VAT refund on all bills of USD 100 and over.

At the third floor of the Main Building (departure floor) get a stamp on your bill (and if necessary fill out the form. In most cases the shopkeeper will do this for you at the sale).

Go through security, check-in and the second security.

At the post office at the D-pier you will get your refund.

Favorite thing: Upon arrival at Terminal 3 you walk via the first floor of one of 3 Piers (Concoure B, C or D) to the central round hall, called the "Rotunda". A short, partly circular walk leads to the "Connector", a down walkway to the ground level of the Main Building. Here you go through passport control at immigration and to luggage claim thereafter. Then you select at customs either for the green (nothing to declare) or red passage. From there you arrive in the Greeters Hall. Buses and taxis are on the same level; the train station is in the basement.

Favorite thing: Be aware it takes time to depart from this airport.

First thing you have to do is to go up to the third floor in the Main Terminal building, either by elevators on the right or by escalator.

If you want claim a VAT refund, get your bill stamped at the VAT counter in the middle.

The Check-in counters are devided in areas in dicated with the letters A, B and C. Pick the right area and be sure the counter is open.

First in the designated area your luggage will go through X-ray inspection and most probably thereafter you have to explain what is in your suitcase in a one to one talk with a security officer.

Hereafter you can go to your check-in counter and have your luggage being tagged.

From here you can proceed to the gate and while exiting the main building go through another security check for your hand luggage.

Going down via the "Connector" you arrive at the "Rotunda".

VAT refund can be claimed at the post office in the D-Pier.

The "Rotunda" has a food court surrounded by duty-free shops.

A big departure display gives update information on scheduled flights.

At boarding time you should be present at your gate.
