Nof HaGalil is a local Druze restaurant that specalizes in Druze meals.
It is not often that I am totally disappointed in a restaurant, but that is the case here.
A party of 14 friends and family we decided to enjoy a Druze meal for the evening. After arriving we were cordially greeted by the owner and sat down to decide what to have. Each of the 14 ordering something different, but much revolving around lamb steaks or bbq spits.
When we received the food, everything, yes EVERYTHING, was stone cold. Even the potatoes and steaks that the owner claimed had "just come off the grill" were cold as ice. When we asked him to heat them up, he said "it is winter and just too cold to get them to the table while still hot". In addition the cost was well above average for a meal of this sort.
Thank you, but no thank you. Will never eat there again and will try to pass on the information to friends of ours in the adjacent Druze village not to send other vacationers to this place.
