There is an easy access walk that you can even take a wheelchair down to veiw the arch. There are also several difficult walking paths, some of which begin at the foot of the mountain. Here you can see Tal and her friend Marcella walking with a baby carriage on the wheelchair path.

As you can see the arch is quite stable and it is possible to walk out on it, even with large groups.

This picture gives you more of an idea of the depth of the area under the arch. You can see the lower area far below. The difference in height between the rear part of the arch (close to where I am) and the front section that you can see below is about 25 meters. The back being about 30 meters deep and the front about 50+.

Visit Ma'arat HaKeshet while you are in the north western part of Israel, it is a natural arch that has formed and it is one of the few places where it is allowed to rope rappel down. You can see the rope hanging in the picture, there was a group that had just finished rapelling down before we arrived.
