The Bahá'í World Centre, the focal point of the International Bahá'i community is not only the spiritual centre of the Bahá'í-world, but also the administrative heart.
Depite the religious background of the place members of all religions or no religion at all can feel the harmony, beauty and peacefulness of this place. If you want to let your mind rest for a while in the middle of your trip, visiting to this place is totally worth it!! The gardens consist of 19 terraces with beautiful fountains and flowers, marble benches and pathways made of red rubble.
In the 10th terrace lays the beautiful Shrine of the Báb, who is one of the two founders of the Bahá'í faith. Shrine of the Bahá'u'lláh is in Ákka, just across the Haifa bay.
The administrative buildings are built in the most beautiful style, ressembling the antique buildings of Greece but having a harmonic, modern touch. The administrative buildings are on the "arch" just by the Shrine of the Báb.
