With our friends we utilized the raised wood walkways that have been installed in the Hula Nature Preserve, they serve two purposes, one to help you access the different viewing points, but also to prevent people wandering off into the dense underbrush and destroying or disturbing the animals there.
You can see animals like the Nutria (similiar to an otter) or families of turtles that love the rushes that are so thick in some areas. You will find several observation posts, this tall one is perfect for watching the eagles that come to fish here. There are several other points where you have places to sit along the ponds to observe the waterfowl that either live here or come to rest and recupperate during migration.Related to:
