Dimitry, our resident fishing expert tells me that the Kinneret Lake is ideal for fishing several types of fish. You can see in the picture that he caught a large catfish and seems to be pleased with himself. We tied the fish on a line and planned to eat it the next day.
Equipment: The story behind this fish is that after we put it on a tied line, all the kids started asking Dimitry not to "hurt or harm" the fish. I told the kids that the fishes name was WILLIE (if you remember the film about freeing a killer whale named Willie, you will know what I was doing). The kids started telling Dimitry that he should "free willie" ^O^. After the protests when on for several hours Dimitry finally "folded" and conceded to their demands and WILLIE WAS FREED. The moral of this story is two. One if you go with kids to fish, make sure the have not seen the movie. Two, cook the fish quickly don't leave him out to dry ;O)))))
