Here at the bottom of the waterfall you will find a beautiful small pool, in the "old days" (about 30+ years ago) this area was open and you could swim in the pool, today it is a closed area, you are only allowed to look, thats a pity, it was so great jumping into the ice cold water on a hot summer day.
You can get some glimpses that will give you an idea of what it must look like in full flow. Here you can see the edge of one of the pools and looking over the edge see the valley below.
There is a short winding path that will take you to several vantage points so that you can get pictures like this...when there is sufficient rains it can be quite impressive, unlike this small "leak".
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If cold bothers you, and it did my daughter Tal as you can see in the picture, it is a good idea in winter, spring and fall to carry a thin blanket that you can wrap up in..
If you keep your eyes open and look around you it will give you the opportunity to see many small wonders like this purple nettle that was in bloom when we visited. It too often happens that visitors are too much in a hurry to see these things, anxious to get to the next place on their list...take your time and SEE, it will reward you with so much.
