When we travel one of the things we enjoy is "taking home a taste" of the country or place we have been. WINE is one of these tastes that we enjoy most. So if you enjoy good taste and excellent hospitality, then VISIT Morad Winery. Eti, who along with her husband Jacob, established the winery in 1999, have an amazing selection of wines made from things as diverse as Passion Fruit to Mint (Yes I said MINT). They also have a selection of liqueurs such as chocolate or melon... While visiting Eti will let you taste as many of these great wines and liqueurs as you like, we took home the chocolate and the passion fruit while other friends took the melon, apple, honey and pomegranate. They have a short presentation movie that can be see in Hebrew/English/Russian.
The prices for a small bottle are between 39-49 NIS (about 9-12USD).

Don't forget to tell Eti we said hi from Arad ^O^ (and show her the VT photo also).

(For the present their web site is in Hebrew only, but I will talk to Eti about translating into English)

Driving back from the far north of Israel is a thristy job, so we decided to take a break and it just happened that we were at Yokneam so we turned in. It is good that we did since we found the Mambo Coffee & Pastry Shop....
They have their own pastry chef and she does a fantastic job...we tried out several of her confections and liked them all. The coffe and hot chocolate were fair to middling, but thats okay since the rest was so good.

Favorite Dish: We tried several pie/tarts with cream filling and fruit or nut toppings, all excellent.
