Bagdad Cafe: Great Location, Awful Food!

    • We picked this place because it looked like the only offering something different than Falafel or Shoarma. Well, it was too hot to eat any of these heavy dishes. (I have a gentle stomach) I ordered Blintches with mushrrom and cheese. It was dry, mushrooms were canned and didn't feel the chesse. It wasn't a good gastronomic experience after all. But I have to admit, they have a great seating area outside, situated on the hill so you do have a great view. Just to enjoy the view, drink something here but don't eat.

    This cafe is in the end (or the beginning - depends where you are coming from) of the pedestrian street of Zefat and it has the best possible views. Very nice and refreshing to sit ourside in the summer, but in winter when it is very cold in Zefat it is better to sit indoors.
    We enjoyed Fantas and it cost 8 NIS per bottle.

    Fanta. Or tea.
