Fondest memory: this is a special place, always thousands of people inside, at any time of the year, hundreds of languagues are spoken , I loved to seat during hours in front of the tomb of jesus , looking at pilgrims who come here for the trip of their life ; I also sat outside on the stairs , and suddenly a group of 20 girls soldiers ("khayalot" in hebrew) came to sit all around me , I was surrounded by "khayalot" , wearing very severe weapons and machine guns ; I love khayalot !

    The Place Of Crucifixion

by StefanE Updated Jul 22, 2005

Fondest memory: My second surprise I had expected a lonely hill. Instead it was lots of buildings with a church in a very bad condition squeezed between them. The guide told us that this was one of several places where the Romans crucified criminals and no one knew for sure if this was the right one.

Opposit the church where a shop selling posters of old superstars (Elvis and Maria)
