    One place that is unique, is the old city model of the city 2000 years ago which you can see at the hotel hollyland.

    Close to the city walls there are several hebrew cemetries. It's interesting to have a look to better understand some aspects of Judaism. These are religious places, so please behave consequently.

    There are many little surprising corners and buildings in Jerusalem. I found the windmill very funny, and suddenly I felt very Dutch again ;-)

    Ah yes, shop until you drop! If you like jewelery, shoes, clothes and fresh fruit you are on the right address! When you have kids, watch out, toys and goodies are sold everywhere ;)

    Don't forget to visit mount of olives. It has a beautiful church and nice nature surrounding it. You can also go mountainclimbing here.

    Go and see the people just outside the wall. Visit the local market. Here is where I saw this tea and coffee salesman. He also sold cold drinks.

    Visit the local markets. Buy yourself fruit and clothes. The market just outside Damascus Gate is extremely nice.
