Bring a Cap or a Hat and Umbrella

by machomikemd Written Oct 2, 2013

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: like what I've said, although jerusalem is higher than other areas of Israel and has a cooler climate, the suns rays here still is hot, moreso during the summer season andthe spring season here is short like just a month or so. even if we where here in the fourth week of april, it was now hot, almost as summer. having a hat and umbrella will shield your head from the heat and remove a source of dehydration as 20% of water loss of the body via sweating is from the head area.

    Take a hat!

Luggage and bags: I always take a suitcase on wheels. It's a little bumpy on the uneven streets of Old Jerusalem, but better than carrying the load.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I was there the end of June and it was very warm, lightweight clothes are a must. Also, I was told to wear a hat and glad I did.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: You can buy what you forgot.

Photo Equipment: The views panoramic pictures of Jerusalem are fantastic!
