Inspired by the Bible: "Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord" (Psalms, CXXX, 1), the stage is sunk under ceiling level. The synagogue is made of Mizzi Ahmar(Arabic), a Jerusalem's reddish stone, and is lighted, naturally through the windows. Every window is 2.5m high, introduces a biblical verse from 'Ya'acov [Jacob] blessings', and divided to 12 parts. The windows are painted in 12 different colours, the colours of the great priest's tunic. Directions: Jerusalem
