we should note the following: The time frame is current--"when I bring back the captives." Jews from nearly 150 nations have returned to a recreated Israel since 1948. Tens of thousands--even hundreds of thousands--of returning Jews are still pouring in annually. The ingathering could as yet continue for another decade or two, but anti-Semitism is on a rapid rise throughout the world and this will accelerate the return.........The battlefield is the "Valley of Jehoshaphat." This large, often deep, valley (now known as the Kidron Valley), begins in the mountains of Israel" and runs alongside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem, continuing down to the Dead Sea..........The aggressors might not be restricted to the Islamic peoples. It involves "all nations" involved in the persecution of Jews during Israel's exile from their land (Arab nations were leaders in their hatred of Jews, but so was Germany, etc.), and all nations involved in the division of God's land. This could even mean that the "broker" powers, some European and Scandinavian countries, and possibly a number of countries in the United Nations will be a part of the conflict. The PLO, and the surrounding Arab states are God's actal neighbors--"My evil neighbors who touch the inheritance which I have caused My people Israel to inherit...".
