Guards everywhere!

before you fly to this city make sure your name in the visa is correct with your passport!it will take 3 hours for youth moslem to pass the immigration especially if your name: Abdullah, Muhammad, etc.very tense atmosphere in the immigration, many of guard holding a weapon (i say it was a real weapons)prepare your self for impromptu interview.if you go with group make sure to stick together.no need to chop the passport or you will get trouble to enter some countries in the future

Driving to Jerusalem area

If you are driving to Jerusalem area from the center of Israel (Route no.1) don't drive too fast - the road can be tricky.Also - if it is winter it can be foggy and slippery.While returning from En Kerem i saw 2 car accidents.

When driving in Jerusalem District area you should be careful and know where you actually driving, some roads will lead to deserted areas or the west bank, and you really do not want to get lost there.

When on the Temple courts as well as the mount it's self, please don't laugh. The Arabs that live on that mount are watching and will think you laughing at them. And husbands and wives can't hold hands, but a woman and another woman can but please be discreet, and men holding hands is a NO NO.Don't get me wrong here now, I love the Arab people as much as the Israeli. Now, when your on the Temple mount and your going into the Mosque (Dome of the Rock), you have to take you shoe off and leave all you belongs at the door, BUT there are young kids hanging around this area, so do carry you money and passport on your person. Our guide Susan said it was safe, but guess who was stand on guard over our belonging, huh...Oh, hi Susan. So just to play it safe, better to be safe then sorry. Yes? Yes.
