Dont try to leave your hotel's area because this is still a desert and you can fall or find a dangerous animal (leopard , snake).
You can enjoy in your hotel's lobby or sit outside and enjoy the desert silence.
The desert can be very cold place during the night so i think you should take warm clothes with you

People from all over the area used to frequent it on a Friday & Saturday night. It was not at all stylish or very atmospheric, but is was fun to go for a dance & a drink or 2 or 3 or ........... It was free to get in for us volunteers & kibbutzniks, I dont know how much outsiders had to pay, it wouldnt have been much.

Also there are Galleons covered in lights with blaring music which go out on the lake at night time. Depending on your mood, the music from the galleons can either spoil the atmosphere, or you can enjoy the livelyness of them.

There is a place in Haifa called Yagul I think. It was a great nightclub.
There were different levels with top 40 music in one bar, old music in another, and trance up the top. It was expensive to get in 60 shekkels I remember as of December 2001. But a great place to get out and boogy!!!
