Source Sandals: Sandals

by Gili_S

Those are the best sandals you can get, I mean, if you count price per value, the sandals quality and it seems they last forever, been with them to Lapland, Africa, where ever I go, in water, in the desert or hiking mountains, ok ok, I admit, I do not wear them in the snow ;-)

The Flea Market near Jaffa

by Paul2001

Although most people will find the souqs in Jerursalem much more interesting on a cultural scale, the flea market located by the Clock. The flea market is quite unlike any such market that I have seen back home in Canada. At the Jaffa flea market you can buy just about anything imaginable from musical instruments, brass beds, cooking utensils to used cars. Of course there is also a large choice of antique furniture. The flea market is a rather ramshackle affair that seems to define the phrase "organized chaos". Henced I really liked. However the flea market will not appeal to everyone. Some will find it filthy and full of quite simply said, junk. Imagine it and you will find it here.

Duty Free: Shopping on the way Back

by Sharon

When Arriving to the Duty Free in Ben Gurion Airport (on your way back home) you can find Many things to buy but unlike i other duty free shops which i've seen you wont find Authentic food to buy there so if you like to take with you this kinda things dont wait till your last minute..Other then that you can find everything..cigarrets, cosmetics, sports clothes shoes and others, electricity, music etc' etc'.For you smokers i can say that cigarrets are quite cheap !!! much cheaper then in the US or Europe.Paying can be done with the local currency, US dollars or any other major credit cards. Not sure about Euros as i never asked about it.

Located in the Holiday Inn, Jerusalem: Silver necklace enscribed with your name in Hebrew

by Iced_Tea

An artisan of the highest style awaits you at the Holiday Inn in Jerusalem. A lovely little shop inside the hotel provides you with one of a kind necklaces. Made of sterling silver (look for the silver marking on the back, I guarantee it will be there). For 25.00, United States currency, your name will be made of silver, written in the Hebrew language. Not knowing the language, I wore my new necklace to a local bookstore. Immediately, a total stranger walked up to me and spoke my name. I smiled brightly, knowing that I had purchased a personal treasure. The jewerly in the shop is handmade, expect a 24 hour wait for your handmade silver necklace, however, other unique and beautiful items are available and very reasonably priced. The jewelry artisan is available to answer any questions and the workmanship is worth the price. 25.00 for a sterling silver necklace made of your name in...

Carmel: Riesling

by Gili_S

This is classic Riesling wine by Carmel vinery, you can find them almost in any restaurant or store. Even ordering bottle to the table is affordable in Israel. There are many different Carmel wines, as I mentioned the Riesling is my favourite but you must try yourself and find what you like. The Riesling is my favourite 6-12 $
