Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Eilat is sunny most of the time and because it is a city with beaches you should take a bathing suit , sun glasses , sun cream , a hat and any other sun blocking option you know or need.

    Diving Slippers

by OrangeFish Updated Jul 29, 2007

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If you are planning to go into the sea it is advisable to buy a pair of diving slippers to protect your feet on the rocks or coral below. I bought a cheap pair from the local flea market in Eilat which is right next to the beach.

    As less as possible

by Sharon Updated Jun 5, 2004

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Dont take too much with you. Most of the day you'll need your swim suit and shorts anyway. For night some nice short clothes.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Normally you have everything you need there and very handy unless if you use some very special medicins which needs a Doc' prespriction.

Photo Equipment: You can buy all the equipment there and remember the strong sun there...so take with you the right films for your camera (unless if you use a digi)

'When going to the beach #2

    by User101 Written Mar 5, 2004

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Some beaches have lots of pebbles and no sand at all. It can take all your fun away if you will not wear flip flops... In short wear shoes that will allow you to go in the water. Most shops along the beach sell them in fair prices just make sure you bring the shoes with you to the beach...

    When going to the beach

    by User101 Written Mar 5, 2004

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Bear in mind that there are no free beach chairs and or escapes from the sun.... Make sure you have: Water, hat, and sun screen. The sun block must be strong or you will become toast in 1 hour.
