Cruize in the Red Sea, Eilat
To get the diving experience without so much as getting your feet wet, take to the waters off Eilat in a glass bottomed boat. I’ve taken a Galaxy Underwater Yacht tour.
The yacht leaves from the marina, spends about two hours cruising the calm waters between the Jordanian and Egyptian borders. You can kick back on the sun deck, perhaps with a beer or a coffee from the snack bar, and enjoy panoramic views of Eilat from the sea.
The boats come in close past Dolphin Reef so you can catch the creatures' somersaulting antics. The highlight however is the slow cruise along Eilat's Coral Beach Nature Reserve viewed from the observatory underneath the boat. Visibility is great in Eilat's waters so you can see huge coral in a variety of shapes, watch predators on the prowl and shoals of bright fish darting for cover.
This glass-bottomed trek is a perfect way for smaller children and non-swimmers to enjoy the reef. Watersports like paragliding can be combining with some tours, with a speedboat picking you up from the glass-bottomed vessel and whisking you off for your activity.
The reserve offers a spectacular combination of strange and beautiful corals that create colorful underwater ‘gardens’ navigated by a variety of wildly-hued tropical fish. These include butterfly fish, parrot fish, Julie fish, nocturnal fish, and many other species, along with sea lilies, giant shells and much more.
You can watch my 9 min 50 sec HD Video Eilat Yacht Galaxy Underwater part 4 out of my Youtube channel.
This special boats will take you into the heart of the Red sea to watch the beautiful corals of Eilat. The buttom of this boats is made of glass so you can see anything in the sea....
This boats go out from the platforms at the Marina and from the Underwater park.
There are many boats that take tourists for a cruize of a couple of hours in the beautiful Red sea. From this boats you can have beautiful views to Eilat and Aqaba.
You can also rent a small boat and go with it privately, just be sure that you know to navigate.
Thats some nice way to enjoy for a few hours.
If you'll just go to Eilat Marina and deck near the northern beach you'll find many boats (in many sizes depends on your wish and need) that are available for that.
I've done that few times in my life and the last was two years ago (in the pic').
I Love to be on a boats watching the mountains, jumping from the boat to the sea in the middle of no where snorkling, swimming and just having fun.
A must. I mean it.
There are plenty of boats that eave the harbor for a two hour trip into the sea, which will offer you some gorgeus views for a reasonable price. I was on a boat with a see-through plastic bottom, so all the colorfull fishes, the corals and the underwater plants were right infron of me like, better than any aquarium. It's amazing, believe me.
We did not make it (sorry under budget lol), but while in Dolphin reef we saw all passing by and watching the dolphins
