The Dolphin Reef is my favourite attraction in Eilat, just for the sake of the dolphins of course :) Here you can just enjoy their company, you can swim with them or just observe from the deck.
This place is excellent for a full day activity, there is also small swimming beach, restaurant and bar with full and friendly service for your sun bathing spot.

We went snorkelling with the dolphins and it was fab! Spent about 30 mins in the water. There were 4 of us plus one guide.
They recommend to book in advance (you can do this via the website). It's NIS 255 per person.
Even if you don't want to go snorkelling, you can enter the beach for a small fee and spend a relaxing day there, watching the dolphins from the shore. The surroundings are very lush and peaceful.

The dolphin's reef is one of Eilat most known attracions.
Here you can see the dolphins on their "nature-like" home , not in cages or aquariums.
You can also swim and dive with the dolphins.
Entrance to the reef will cost an adult something like 50 nis but if you want to dive or swim with the dolphins it will cost you more (230nis for diving).
You can also learn to dive here or get your pictures taken under the water.

The Dolphin Reef is one of my best memories of Eilat. We went a group of three people and did a little snorkling with the dolphins. Unfortunately, since it is a very natural setting with the dolphins (the net is open for them to leave the compound), they do not always interact with the visitors. The guide on our snorkle tour tried to get the dolphins to interact with us but was unsuccessful. The price of the snorkle activity has not changed since I went about six years ago. It is still NIS 233 for one hour of snorkling with the dolphins/observing them. But after that you can stay in the compound, relax on their private beach and restaurant. Dives are roughly the same price for those that are PADI certified but they also offer courses.
If personally plan to do this again sometime, but after I am PADI certified so that I can have more interaction with the dolphins.

DON'T. This is not a SCUBA Diving center. The SCUBA leaders/instructors are arrogant, nasty, and not at all interested in the customer. The equipment you rent is antiquated and the "manager" Ilan is a thief and a scroundal. There are many dedicated SCUBA centers in Eilat that will treat you well. Use them.
As for the snorkling: its fine but you must realize that you are getting no closer than 3 meters of the penned dolphins and there is no other life forms to see. The uncolorful coral rock was dragged in. But the guides were nice especially when compared to the SCUBA staff.

The Dolphin Reef in Eilat, it`s the top tourist attraction Eilat has to offer and it doesn`t disapoint. Me and my girlfriend went to swim with the Dolphins here, you can snorkle or scuba dive at the reef with the Dolphins we snorled having never scuba dived before we had a wonderful time with the Dolphins swimming underneath you, your not aloud to touch the Dolphins but the Dolphins can touch you. The swim last`s for about half an hour and you can get some really good photo`s of the dolphins from the floating platforms.
Even if your not a strong swimmer the guides there are great and will see you okay, and if you dont want to swim with dolphins you can still watch the Dolphins messing about whilst laying on the beach and have good time.
All in all an unforgetable experience would recommend it to anyone.

The Dolphin reef is a 5 min' drive from the center of Eilat.
There's a nice beach, restaurant and diving club. You can see the feeding of the dolphins with their trainers every hour, thats a lovely thing, they are a real great ceratures...
Dolphins are also known for their ability to help sick people and kids with mental / physical problems. They have amazing sences and they will capture your heart when you'll see them.
You can also dive with the dolphins, its a bit expensive (see the rates in the below website) but its a great experience. The diving is with a guide, you cant dive alone but still its wonderful.

On the south section of the beach are floating ramps. The dolphins being curious creatures approach and check out the visitors and you get a chance (if you are nice enough…) to pat them as they come by.
The ramps are fairly hidden so make sure you don’t skip this one.

The dolphin reef in Eilat is one of the few dolphin resorts in the world that does not cage the animals. The concept is that a part of the beach is fenced allowing the dolphins to live in the sea rather then a tank. This creates a unique experience to the visitor as the animals feel at home and act on it…
The beach is lovely and also features facilities such as 2 restaurants / bars and a diving club. The diving club offers guided underwater tours to watch the dolphins – highly recommended. One last thing, there is an option to hire an underwater photographer to record the entire experience and I highly recommend this. Its an experience you will want to remember!

A lovely beach for which you pay for access. It has shops, restaurants and a giftshop. But what makes it worthwhile is the Dolphin compound. A large netted area within which live a large family group of Black Sea Dolphins. They have feeding periods every two hours, you can walk out onto the pontoons and see this up close. You can also dive or snorkel with the Dolphins for an additional charge (full instruction given for accompanied dive).
