The Promanade, Eilat
Kings City is a biblical theme park in Eilat, which was inaugurated in June 2005. It required an investment of about USD 40 million. It is owned by "Africa Israel", "Elran d.d. Real Estate ltd" and a Swiss investor.
I didn’t visit it, but its building is very attractive and reminds something like Solomon’s Palace, haha!
You can watch my high resolution photo of Eilat on the Google Earth according to the following coordinates 29° 32' 58.14" N 34° 57' 55.92" E or on my Google Earth Panoramio Kings City.
There are wonderful promenades in the Northern part of Eilat. You will see beautiful buildings of hotels from one side and fabulous beaches from another side. There are a lot of cafés and restaurants, shops and entertainments. People from all over the world are strolling and enjoy their vacations.
The beautiful, vibrant beaches scattered along the Red Sea coastline, run from the north edge of Eilat Bay, near the Jordanian border, down to south beach near the Egyptian border. The beaches are localized in two major areas – the North Beach, where the main hotel area is located, and the Coral Beach, further south of Eilat.

In its Southern part you will see Le Meridian Hotel, Reef Hotel, and Princess Hotel just close to the Egyptian border.

The area of Eilat was designated as part of the Jewish state in the 1947 UN Partition Plan. During the 1948 Arab–Israeli War an old Ottoman police station, called Umm Rashrash in Arabic, was taken without a fight on March 10, 1949 as part of Operation Uvda, in which both the Negev and Golani Brigades participated. Having forgotten to bring an Israeli flag with them, the Negev Brigade soldiers improvised and raised the "Ink Flag" in order to claim for Israel the area upon which Eilat would be constructed.
Now you can see a monument which reminds us this very important event.

"Small but lovely"…this is how I would characterize Eilat after sunset. The main strolling place is the promenade stretching along the North Beach coast from the Harod hotel to the central mall and IMAX theater. Eateries of all kinds, attractions… This promenade is lined with handicraft kiosks neighboring to designer stores….
The market`s and shopping mall in Eilat is a great place to pick up some bargains, yet the locals are a little reluctant to haggling in fact it`s more if you want it`s this price buy if you want because it`s the same price next door alot different to neighbouring Egypt. The shopping mall in Eilat is a good place to buy some Dead Sea beauty products for all you girls out there at a good price, but be ready before going into the mall as you get a good seaching over with bag checks and metal detectors. Great place to look around.
Even if you don't stay in one of the big hotels on the north shore, you have to come here in the evening for a stroll. Here you'll find a little marina and dozens of cafés, bars and restaurants.
