Diving, Eilat

11 Reviews  I owe thanks to Sharon (SharonR), a good friend who gave me the gift of a dive for my 60th birthday. This was so much fun and I enjoyed it immensely. Took Tal's boyfriend Itzik along so I would have a friend to share the experience with later. The Sigala Diving School is just a one room affair in...

Dolphin Reef

Dolphin Reef, Eilat

13 Reviews  Same as with the Solomon's Pillars and the mushroom, also here the nature of rain, water and wind dig into the red rock to created these arches. You need to walk a bit further to see those, don't forget to take some water with you.

The Promanade

The Promanade, Eilat

10 Reviews   Kings City is a biblical theme park in Eilat, which was inaugurated in June 2005. It required an investment of about USD 40 million. It is owned by "Africa Israel", "Elran d.d. Real Estate ltd" and a Swiss investor. I didn’t visit it, but its building is very attractive and reminds something like...

Cruize in the Red Sea

Cruize in the Red Sea, Eilat

6 Reviews   To get the diving experience without so much as getting your feet wet, take to the waters off Eilat in a glass bottomed boat. I’ve taken a Galaxy Underwater Yacht tour. The yacht leaves from the marina, spends about two hours cruising the calm waters between the Jordanian and Egyptian borders. You...

Red Canyon

Red Canyon, Eilat

2 Reviews  Aside from being physically beautiful to wander in the Red Canyon and see the layering of colors on the canyon walls, it is also fun to slide down the slopes that are formed by the slow erosion of water and wind combined with sand on the soft (well realitively soft anyway) rock. You can see in some...

Flying to & from, Eilat

8 Reviews   Eilat is Israel's southernmost city and a popular resort. It’s located at the northern tip of the Red Sea, on the Gulf of Eilat. If you follow to the South Region you’d better use Eilat or Uvda (Ovda) airports. But large wide-body aircrafts cannot operate from Eilat Airport because of its short...
