The Beach Pub and Restaurant serves hotdogs and other fast food and most important: cold drinks. I really had no appetite in hot food with air temperatures at 43 degrees C.!
Best thing that there where fans on the terrace that spraued a fine cool mist: refreshing!
Favorite Dish: Cold drink, ice cream, cold drink, ....
The En gedi Inn is a nice restaurant with air conditioning on the road for families or groups.
When we came it was passover (a jewish holiday) so we didnt came to eat here and brought our own kosher food.
If you miss the taste of fast food you can always go to the mall on En Boqeq (called petra mall) and enjoy Mcdonalds.
Favorite Dish: I dont like Mcdonalds but they dont have a variety of choices so i guess you can eat their hamburger.
I never thought I'd EVER include a recommendation to go to McDonald's but I'm including it here for the kicks and giggles.
If you're tired of shelling out the money for expensive food and you're in a hurry to get back on the road, well, McDonald's is your place!
The funny thing about the McDonald's in En Boqeq (aside from the fact that it's always crowded) is that there's a statue of Ronald McDonalds outside the facility, with a plaque indicating it's the "lowest McDonald's in the world."
THAT is when you really know you've sunk to an all time low....
Tal wanted Haute Cuisine, 13 year old style, so we had our Dead Sea VT Meet with Tal, Zohara, Sharon, Carmen and Stacey in McDonalds.......
(If I need to give an opinion of this place that just means you have never been to a McDonalds before, it is the lowest of the low, junk food that trips the light fantastic. If you can avoid these places of plastic food, do so).
Favorite Dish: I have not as yet tasted a dish that tastes good in McDonalds.
