Warning sign at the entrance to the beach
    3 more images

The Dead Sea, as everybody knows, has very high salt concentrations.
The caution sign at the entrance to the public beach is in Hebrew, so here is a brief translation:

    - Take care not to drink or swallow the Dead Sea Water.
    - Take care to avoid getting water in your eyes; this may be harmful.
    - Do not attempt to dive or even dip your head in the water.
    - If you ingest water go to the first aid station or to the lifeguard.
    - In order to float on your back, first reach a sitting position floating in the water.

Do take care, but don't be afraid: just relax, float on the water and enjoy yourself!
