Yam 7 is located near the Acadia Hotel in Herzliya-Pituach, strategically situated overlooking the beach below. The view includes the marina in the south, the Acadia-Central and Acadia-North beaches and the beach-level promenade.
This is a big and spacious restaurant, and the amount of "personal space" that each table gets here is remarkable. The menu is varied, including meat, fish, pasta, salads and more.
Three of us ordered sreaks and were very satisfied, and I liked my hamburger as well.

"Etzel Avi" means "Chez Avi" in Hebrew. This is a simple beach restaurant which is very strategically located, on the lower promenade of the Herzliya Pituach beach.
You come here for the location, not for the food. The menu includes all the usual items you find in such restaurants in Israel.
We had humus, falafel and a greek salad, and everything was quite tasty. There is a selection of beers, other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and also coffee and tea. Service is slow, but our waiter was attentive and efficient.

In Israel even an evening in November is a good time to sit outdoors in the Hertzeliya marina, eat and have a drink, and the breeze is pleasant and not too cold.
We spent a very nice evening in the Kakao Espresso Bar; this is one of several branches of this trendy network of cafes in Israel.
If you want to eat they have the typical menu in Israeli cafes: sandwiches, wraps, salads, pasta, desserts.
The ambience was very pleasant, as we watched the passers by on the quay and the yacht masts gently swaying in the water. Service was good and efficient.

The Herzilya marina is not exactly my favorite place: a concrete monster where golden sand used to be. However. once it was built, it does provide opportunities for good dining.
We went to Medzzo for dinner to celebrate Ofrah's birthday. There were six of us, and the uniform opinion was very good. There is a large selection in the menu; I enjoyed my beef carpaccio and the chicken in cream and mushroom sauce. The others loved the dishes of their choice: beef steak, salmon fillet. The desserts (chocolate mousse, vanilla ice cream with fruit of the forest) were delicious. The service was friendly and professional. The place was rather noisy (full house on a Friday night), but otherwise the ambience was also nice.

This is one of these restaurants where you'll be enjoying and appreciating every bite. First, you'll feel sorry that your fork will have to destroy the beautiful presentation on a plate. And then you'll swear that this is the tastiest thing you have ever had.
The decorations are very romantic, in white colors (Lavan means white in Hebrew) and gentle red lights. First floor contains of regular tables and an impressive bar. And the gallery floor is the "creme de la creme" of the restaurant. Large compartments with king size matrasses with big pillows and tables in the middle.
It's an upscale restaurant, so the dress code does not include shorts and sandals. Additionally, leave your old socks with holes at home and wear your best pair, because you'll be asked to take your shoes off before being sitted on the matrasses :).
Definitely not a cheap place, but the food is great, wine selection is large, and the service is friendly and very professional.
Favorite Dish: Try the shrimp in sun dried tomatoes creamy sause and wrapped asparagus dish as appetizers. Continue with 300g. entrecote or parpadelle pasta with tomato sauce. Yummi!

This one was a loser for me, the steak was small, only about 250 grams and it was a "tough bird". Not often am I so disappointed when eating a beef steak.
What did make the evening not a total loss was the ambience, sort of American west/kitsch, even to having a cigar store indian there, not to mention the wagon wheels, sombreros, 6 shooters and other accounterments...
And I do need to mention that our waiter was very good, polite and helpful..so in this case even though totally dissatisfied with the food he got a good tip for the service.
End result, you may enjoy the place itself, and even try another meat dish so be okay, but if you are a steak person, try White Hall across the street.....

Okay this is a restaurant that is deep in contrasts.
The waitress who served us was great, fast and accurate, always catching your eye to see if you need anything. The staff was friendly and when I joked about my coctail being "watered down", they took it back and added a stiff shot of rum.
Four of us sat down to a late lunch and the food was actually very tasty, well presented and sufficient.
Our PROBLEM came when we found a HAIR in the food, a very LONG and very DARK hair which did not fit any of us. We called the owner over to show him and instead of apologizing he began to tell us of the Italian woman who prepares these dishes... Several of our group also put aside their food and did not finish. We asked for our check and were charged for the half eaten food, even THAT WITH THE HAIR IN IT.
Wake up Ocean, take responisibilty for your preperations, we all accept that mistakes can be made, accept that and make up for it. One more restaurant that I will make sure not a single friend visits.

This is one of the more popular fish restaurants in Herzliya-Pituach, and justly so. It's suitable for families, friends' get-together and for young or old couples, if they are looking for a casual, friendly atmosphere and not for the most romantic, intimate place (which Shuree-Buree is definitely not).
As soon as you sit down an array of salads and starters is laid out before you, including some fish starters (herring). Free refills of the starter dishes are offered generously (we were asked 3 times which salads we wanted more of).
There is a selection of tasty fish (or a limited choice of other seafood). You do not pay extra for the salads & starters if you order a fish for main course.
The service was good and efficient when we were there.

From the center of Herziliya Petuach, the area of Herziliya that is on the coastline, you need to ask where the Spider Pub is. There is a small dirt road that leads off the center of town where you can park and then walk down to the pub. The pub itself is set at the bottom of the cliff and is only a few meters from the shore. So you will have swimmers coming up from the beach and office workers coming down from the town. As you can see in the first photo it is "casual". They have wine and beer and a small menu, but the best part of the Spider Pub was enjoying your food and drink while watching the sunsets. As you can see in the first photo Zohara and Hrvojka are enjoying while ordering.
