This is a wonderful safari park located just outside Tel-Aviv. The list of animals is endless including lots of big cats, elephants, monkeys, birds and many, many more.
It has open space to drive your own car or you can use the safari own bus as well. Beside that lots of attractions for kids here. Good for families and for picnic planning as well.

This mall is the most successful mall in israel and people say it is one of the most successful malls in the whole world.
A lot of stores , cinemas , places to eat.
It is very close to the national football stadium.

Working since 1974 , this is a nice Zoo with something like 1500 animals of different species.
You can see the lions walking around and even enter with your car to see them from very close.
Ticket price is 45 NIS.

The "Safari" is Ramat gan's zoo and its also the best one in Israel. This is a huge atrraction, especially if you are with children because of its sights and activities.
I bben in this zoo not once and its never become boring....
There are animals from all arpound the world... kangoroos from Australia, Penguins from antarctica, lions from Afroica and manuy more...
In addition to animals there are also restaurants and places where you can rest.

The Yarkon is a river from Rosh Ha'ayin (after Petah tikva) to the sea in Tel Aviv,
Near the river there is a walking/cycling route with different difficult level , plants , ducks , and a very peacefull place.
You will see there a lot of people running , cycling , a families with kids.
the length of the path from Tel Aviv to Ramat gan near the ayalon mall is something like 10km as far as i remember.

Right next to the Safari, you will find the National Park. This is a popular place, always full with people jogging, rowing a boat in the pond and even playing cards or having BBQ's. Directions: The park is located in the suburb of Ramat-Chen. If you take Aluf Sadeh road to the east,just before you reach road number 4 you'll see sign pointing you there. Take a right turn and follow the signs.

There is no much to do or see in Ramat-Gan, but this is one my favourite places in the entire country (and across the street from where I live...). This is the biggest zoo in Israel. It contains two parts, the regular zoo where you walk around and the animals are enclosed and the safari part where you drive your car (or ride the internal train they have there for kids) and the animals roam free around you.

If you are visiting Israel with kids then Ramat-Gan Safari is an absolute must for you. Well, adults can have the same fun also.
Safary grounds are organized as a winding road along savanna-like territory. You drive your own car and watch animals from the window. Bus tours are also available but the fun is not the same.
Here is a partual list of what can be seen:
Zebra, Kanna, Gnu, Rphino, Hippo, Tompson antilope and more.
At the very center of the Safari there is a regular Zoo from the best in the world with especialy rich number of shimpanze and elefants.
After leaving the Zoo, you continue along the road and very soon approach the Lion territory. Then another mile of svanna and you can either repeat the route or leave tied but satisfied.
The most fun is feeding animals, especialy when an Ostriche ispects each corner of your car with its head, or Zebra is taking carrots from your hands. This is officialy prohibited but nobody cares if you follow common sense (carrots for zebra and dry bread for antilopes). Offer'm a peace, otherwise they wouldn't apprach (see photos). Be carefull and do not step out of the car. This summer a hippo bite small boy which was two annoying out of the car. Hippos and Rhinoes might be dangerous!!!
The place become overcrowded on Saturday afternoon. A week day is better but if you ought to be there on Saturday - come first.
I remember once two ostriches standing by a sign - "Ticket control". Theye were checking each passing car for a peace of food (those guys eat virtually everything).
