Angie wild meat: NG - Meat restaurant
Angie wild meat is a concept restaurant specializing in meat, which is located in a stone house in Neve Tzedek in Tel Aviv
For meat lovers and beer lovers.
One of the special things of that restaurant is having eight local breweries, and this is just the perfect experience to drink their special beers with the restaurant meat.
As for the menu: I haven't try the fresh snails, but I've heard its a favor dish.
Favorite Dish: The most expensive dish: Portraus 5 KB (880 NIS)
Cheapest dish: Waskarago celery cream soup (32 NIS)
NG meat bar: Pork Spare Ribs at NG
We were met on entering by a very plesant woman named Toot (which means Strawberry in Hebrew and she told us that it is not her given birth name, and yes, I asked). It turns out that she, her husband Giora and a friend Nir are the owners. She explained to us that it is a "specialty meat bar" and that the menu is limited, but what they do serve is excellent, to quote Toot.
The service was excellent, the music was enjoyable and the decorations were copies of old Tel-Aviv from 30-40 years ago. Quite enjoyable and a pleasant place to spend some time.
Favorite Dish: We had Spare Ribs (pork, 6 pieces) (for $15) which were fantastic, done just right with a delicious sauce, just slightly sweet.
A glass of house wine (Cabernet) was 15 shekels ($3).
We also had Entrecot Steak (beef, 300 grams) (for $13), but while the steak was done perfectly as I requested and the taste was excellent, the only problem was that there were a lot of "stringy" parts.
All in all I would recommend this place and will go myself again, hoping that I just happened to get the one poorer quality steak out of that cow ...
