South Tel Aviv institution, established more than 40 years found in the warren of streets and alleys that is the Yemenite Quarter.
Humus, felafel and variations of the Middle eastern salads (very traditional) plus chicken and lamb kebabs, shishliks etc.
Inside part is not that nice (see picture) - bit on the dark side, but there are 6 or so tables set up outside in the alley. As they block the street, people have to walk through them. Real people watching involved here as they come to and fro from the nearby shouk (market) laden with bags of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Favorite Dish:
Plate of humus with snowbar (pine nuts) followed by a shishlik.
Average costs for a meal in Tel Aviv, but on the expensive side for this type of meal.
