As any other flea market over the world, the one in Jaffo also has many old used items for sale.
Most things are second hand, and the prices are not fixed - which means you can negotiant about the prices to make it cheaper as possible.
Most sales men -when they see tourist they raise up the prices, therefor don't accept the first offer they give to you. If they don;t want to change the price for you - move to the next store, since most of them are sailing the same things anyway.
Make sure that it is easy to travel back with all you buy, cause some of the things you can't take to the flight with you.
Be careful from thieves and watch your handbags and pockets.
You can't pay with credit cards - only cash works.

The flea market is really a nice place to spend a hour or two. We can say that the market is divided in two part. The first once is hosted in houses and garage surrounding the "real" flea market and the merchants mainly sell antiques with some really nice pieces.
The flea market in itself is really "flea" means can find old and dirty stuff together with cheap T-shirt, batteries, clipper, ...

Got a 1950s hoover with a missing part? Fancy an ornate but useable nargilah? Or a Hanukiah? Even hand-made furniture or electrical goods/cameras from dubious sources? Then the flea market in Jaffa is the right place. Set among the narrow streets of workshops and storage centres of end of 19th century Arab quarter, its a warren of junk, bargains and crafts. Open every day except Saturday - worth getting there early if you want to find a real bargain, otherwise wander through the alleys sifting the good stuff from the junk.

Here you can find a lot of things and very cheap sometimes.
You can buy rings , antiques , musical instruments , clothes and more.
You can bargain with the seller and you will get good prices.
I saw a small guitar that cost 120 nis and he wanted to sell it for 30 nis

Here you can find anything from second-hand clothing, shoes, household utensils, antique and modern furniture. There is plenty to see here. It is a very old area (see my travelogue), but I understand that renovations are being carried out. I did see that one road was impassable and had a feeling that lots of shops were closed. I soon realised there was still quite enough to see. I was looking for a specfic type of ceiling lamp, and although I saw many none of them caught my eye. In a furniture shop though I did see a piece of furniture that I liked, and even if I don't buy it, I still got an idea of what style I could get.

A lovely small flea market out in the small old streets of Jaffa. Very colorful, Lots of old special things to buy aside some new stuff.
Prices are quite cheap and huggling is a custom... well like in all middle east.
