By the beach near Alenby St. you won't miss this place - the Opera Tower.
At the building entrance floor you can find shopes and cafe's / restaurant. Nothing too special just located in a good point where you cross the road and there you are on the beach..
This is The Opera Tower, just at the end of Alenby street by the beach. On a hot sunny day it is a perfect place to take a break in a cool air conditioning environment. There are also coffee shops and stores, books and Tower Records CD store as well.
The frist photo shows the new Opera Tower with its fountain on the shores of Tel-Aviv. This is the structure that was raised over the old opera house and today it is a shopping center with several small restaurants.
The second and third photos shows the new opera house that was built and it is also used for music presentations and also the occassional showcase of art in the lobby. The enclosed area also has a museum and restaurant and is just adjacent to the Tel-Aviv Museum of Art.
Overlooking the beach and found on the corner of Allenby and coastal Herbert Samuel Street, the salmon pink Opera Tower is one of the most distinctive buildings on the coastal strip with its stepped upper floors. Mostly apartments and a few offices, the small shopping mall at ground level is popular with its Tower Records and fast food outlets.
The multi-screen cinema Rav Opera is sadly no more.
It stands on the site of the first Tel Aviv Opera House, hence its name.
The opera tower is located on the promenade of Tel aviv on Alenbi , Hayarkon and Herbert samuel streets.
You will find inside a mall and also a cinema and restaurants.
Go and visit the Opera Tower Building at the end of Allenbystreet. The Tower has several restaurant, music and bookstores. On the first floor there are also amusementhalls and cinemas.
I loved sitting at this waterfountain at the Opera Tower in the evening. The sunsets are beautiful here and watching all the people from here is nice too. Just sit down on a bench and relax.
