    We were not allowed to talk when walking along The Siq. This would be until we reached The Treasury.
    It's funny because we were supposed to feel the ambience of the place how it would be like thousands of years ago.
    Actually, we were too busy looking at the almost-dark path that we were walking on, careful not to step on the camels' & donkeys' dung splattered on the ground !

    We were treated with music...with herbal tea. Nice !
    Everybody was sitting quietly & I of course started to smoke anyway.
    The Tour Guide was telling us about Petra thousands of years ago. What it was like, what it was making Petra the true civilization of this world.
    Look at my photo. The Treasury was not lit at all. You could see part of it...

    With a Lawrence of Arabia theme (but of course!), you feel like you're smack in the middle of an extraordinary bedouin tent.

    We sat outside in the atrium area and enjoyed a milkshake in the late afternoon, but after dinner we peeked inside the bar area and it was gorgeous....dim lighting, perfect ambience, live music.....perfect for an after dinner drink and quiet conversation or some romance....

    Pants for men, pants or dress for women. Sleeveless is OK for women because it's inside an international hotel...but if you show up in a t-shirt and shorts, you might embarass yourself because of the sheer elegance of the ambience.
