Getaway: Not much to do
Aqaba is increadibly queiet after sunset, I say incredibly because it is a beach resort. The only place where to drink something untill late is the Gateway a place where you can find some restaurants, outlets and pubs.
- Beer Tasting
- Wine Tasting
D Lounge - Hilton: Live music and dancing
This is the newest place in town,
Currently they have a good band ... Wednesday is the ladies night so all drinks are at 50%
Tuesday is the fun Karoke night, so if you are there on a Tuesday go and have a blast.

Rovers at the Gateway: Bars in Aqaba
Upstairs at the Gateway complex on the waterfront are two bars - Rovers with outside patio and Friends.
Rovers is an English style pub with beer on tap and western menu.
MacDonald's is next door, and there is an internet cafe downstairs.
Dress Code: Casual dress code - jeans or shorts are fine.

Nightlife here is quite splendid. Because it's very hot in the day, so people hang out until very late. Near the beach, you can easily find bunches of people hanging together, enjoying the meal, going for a drink or something like that. And alongside the beach, there are many nice Turkish restaurants, I don't know if it's authentic enough or not, but I really enjoy the food a lot!!
Dress Code: Hm...for women visitors, I think you should dress up properly after all Jordanian women are still quite conservative about this.
