Upstairs at the Gateway complex on the waterfront are two bars - Rovers with outside patio and Friends.
Rovers is an English style pub with beer on tap and western menu.
MacDonald's is next door, and there is an internet cafe downstairs.
Dress Code: Casual dress code - jeans or shorts are fine.

Nightlife here is quite splendid. Because it's very hot in the day, so people hang out until very late. Near the beach, you can easily find bunches of people hanging together, enjoying the meal, going for a drink or something like that. And alongside the beach, there are many nice Turkish restaurants, I don't know if it's authentic enough or not, but I really enjoy the food a lot!!
Dress Code: Hm...for women visitors, I think you should dress up properly after all Jordanian women are still quite conservative about this.
